“The audit is over. Now what?”

Someone asked me this during a food safety training, and my answer was simple: the work doesn’t stop when the auditor leaves.

We passed our audit 🎉 and that’s something the team should be proud of. But an audit should never be the reason we maintain food safety standards. Those standards have to become part of what we do every day, whether an auditor is coming tomorrow or not.

A strong food safety culture should keep the momentum, maintaining the standards and continuously looking for ways to improve.
