Motherhood and parenthood hits differently when your babies are no longer babies 🥹💔

When they were newborn until primary school, they needed us for everything… feeding, bathing, cuddles, school runs, and bedtime stories. It was physically exhausting but somehow easier because we were their whole world.

Now as a widowed mama with teenagers, I realized motherhood is no longer about controlling or protecting every step they take. It’s about learning to let go slowly, guiding them while respecting their own mind, emotions, and choices. And honestly… sometimes it feels like they are now the boss of the house 😂

But this season taught me the real meaning of parenthood — unconditional love, patience, sacrifice, and trusting God even when we feel unappreciated, tired, or emotional.

We stop becoming just a “mother.”
We become a safe place, a prayer warrior, a provider, a listener, and sometimes both mama and papa at the same time. ❤️

To all widowed, single, and hardworking parents… if you feel this too, you are not alone. Raising teenagers in this generation is another level of strength and grace 🙏✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all the strong mama’s, single mama’s, widowed mama’s and mother figures out there 💐

Being a mama and papa to my two amazing girls has never been easy, but the love is truly indescribable. It’s been 3 years now since becoming a widowed mama, and through this journey I have learned patience, strength, faith, and courage. There were moments of doubt, pain, loneliness and many negative battles, but God turned those broken moments into something stronger within me. 🙏

My faith became deeper because I know God never left us. I truly believe that aside from my guardian angel, I have more angels in heaven now — my husband, my 5 brothers, and my grandparents — continuously protecting, guiding and watching over us every single day ✝️💞

My little princess may be struggling with anxiety and emotions right now, but I believe God placed me in this season for a reason. To stay close to my girls, to guide them, love them, protect them, and to become closer to Him while serving others in different ways.

Whatever God wants me to do, I will follow. “Here I am Lord, lead me.” ✨🙏

To every mother carrying silent battles while still showing love everyday — you are appreciated, loved, and never alone. Happy Mother’s Day 🌸💜💞

Verse of the day! Father God thank you for your unending graces that we have received, thank you for not letting us down despite of many trials and failures we’ve encountered. We are still standing and strong together.

The Priest showed great hospitality by inviting us for morning tea after the Mass service, even though we weren't part of his parish.☺️
I'm grateful that I could attend the special service before starting my day. According to scripture, we should seek God's kingdom first, so we're ready to serve the Lord.
