My name is Josh. I’m a father to Charlie, who is eight year old, and for seven years my life was shaped — and at times consumed — by the family law system.

I’m based in Melbourne, but this story isn’t unique. It’s one shared by many fathers.

Working with clients is not just about connecting with them or understanding their situation — it’s much deeper than that.

It’s about seeing the love they have for their children and witnessing the lengths they are willing to go to in order to rebuild and maintain those relationships.

Following last night’s post about supporting my client at Court, I also shared the experience within the Dad’s Rights Australia group.

Since then, the post has reached over 30,000 people, with hundreds of comments, reactions, shares, phone calls, and direct messages throughout today alone.

As much as I’m grateful to be connecting with so many people across the country, it’s also incredibly sad at the same time. The stories I’m hearing from fathers and families are beyond heartbreaking.

So many people are simply looking for support, guidance, clarity, and someone who genuinely understands what they’re going through.

It’s a strong reminder that no one should feel like they have to navigate these challenges completely alone.

I know navigating family law feels daunting, scary, and deeply emotional.

I know how much is at stake — and how overwhelming the uncertainty can be.

I know many men feel like they’re constantly jumping through hoops, without ever seeing the end in sight.

I know that even when you’re legally represented, you can find yourself waiting… and waiting… with no clear answers.
