Who we are
Pacific Meat Sales is a family owned business operating for over 25 years. Specializing in high quality meat sales to a domestic and export market. Our focus is on Pork, Beef and Veal, which is supplied through 5 different brands.
We are recruiting multiple Process Workers to join our meat processing and packing facility in Thomastown.
Key responsibilities
ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive environment
have a desire to produce product to a high standard
ability to work effectively in a team environment
reliable and committed to working 5 days per week
be flexible to work varied hours of the day (until finish)
ability to work with pork/beef product
basic knowledge of logistic systems, processes and procedures would be advantageous
ability to resolve problems whist working autonomously
Skills required
Previous experience within the meat processing industry will be highly regarded
Be comfortable handling beef, pork and lamb meat and meat products
Be physically fit with the ability to lift repetitively
Working on a conveyor belt system
Ability to follow the Health & Safety Standards and policies
Ability to maintain a clean working environment
Working collaboratively as part of a high performing team
Current and valid Australian working rights
