AND...we’re pleased to announce that we will have two very special guests travelling down from Melbourne just for this gig - Tim Rex on double bass and Bob Mercer on drums. Great to play with Dave Meade at the Port Fairy Jazz Festival on the weekend - all the way from New York city. Monster player, and a nice guy to hang with. Having Uncle Schmoe on tenor as well kept me on my toes. Thank you to locals Gavin Franklin on piano and Bruce Millar bass for a memorable few days. And special thanks for the video and photos and for lending us that amazing cymbal of yours. Extra special thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible.
