《辣台妹島》

我來伊東先生家作客，一口氣就說，我要在東京住15天。伊東先生安靜地喝著清酒，他說自己經常來台灣。一年可能去10次。我問他住哪? 他好像沒有說。能夠在東京有自己的家，我想他什麼也不缺吧，不對，應該問問我自己他缺什麼呢?

我遞出了蛇年春聯，這是今年的版本，我今年帶去西班牙台灣藝術週還餘下的。我不好意思地跟他說：這是我們台灣人的諧音梗喔! 請您不要覺得被冒犯了。春聯上我的書法寫著「吃飽喝足的魯蛇」。伊東先生笑著說他不住這裡，他回家還要坐一個小時的地鐵喔。

於是來之前我早早做好馬年的春聯，總共有六個款式，我想我這麼認真友好，不愧負伊東先生的東京住宿吧。

我連衣架都買好三座，沿用三宅一生先生一塊布的概念，我把四國琴平町松尾寺的展件剪下來。我的剪刀是北海道買的，當時為了剪松葉蟹，現在剪展件。墨色一樣黑的夜晚，我坐在妹島和世設計的房子裡，想著，怎麼安排我的衣桿?

它將掛上以線裝書為概念，縫在不織布上的30幅書法展件，可能會增加，我不一定有把握。

我的三個子題分別是：
「辣台妹」
「動物哀傷」
「日台友好」

Humbled to see some of my images from recent Christmas Bazaar event featured on the newsletter of The Swedish Church - Svenska kyrkan i Melbourne.

Prior to the event I had not known the Church's expectations, or future use cases, for event photos. But I made an attempt to capture both the friendly and approachable nature of the Swedish Church, as well as its beautiful and peaceful place of worship.

It is not the first time I photographed events of religious context, but I am definitely not an expert. The cover photo from the newsletter is of a beautiful lady who puts so much for the church and its community, and it is one of two lovely photos of her I captured that weekend. I am so thrilled to see my suggestion of an image with the symbol in the frame got a nod of approval.

It was such a fun event and privilege to have an opportunity to contribute my work to a church that is particularly important to a friend who has helped me a lot in the time of my transition back into living in Melbourne.

Come down to the Swedish Church (St Georges Rd, Toorak) tomorrow/Sunday to get Scandinavian goodies, from sweets, meal, crafts and even traditional Swedish Clog wood-soled sandals that are imported direct from Sweden specifically for this Bazaar! Music, play for children, St Lucia procession all in one venue! Say hello to the photographer if you come by!

I was told at a cafe in Takamatsu (that's in Shikoku) that this exhibition is really good and worth a visit. I might stop by this afternoon before they close the exhibition (last day today!).
