I found this out the hard way.

At one point in my life, I dropped to 52kgs.
The stress took over.
I lost feeling in my right arm.
I was placed on heavy nerve medication.
It took over two years to gain back not just my weight but my strength, my confidence, and my sense of self.

No paycheck is worth your physical and emotional health.

The dream was delayed... But never denied

Getting knocked down and continually getting back up again!

I once had a dream... and then I was knocked down.

Not once. Not twice. But time and time again.

For many years, I let self-doubt hold me back. I believed the voices that told me I wasn’t ready… wasn’t capable… wasn’t enough.

But something shifted.

I stood back up.
I chose growth over fear.
And I kept going, especially on the days that felt hardest.

Today, I’m living the dream I once thought was out of reach. I get to do the work I love, help others find their voice, and share my story so others feel less alone in theirs.

To Those Surviving Toxic Leadership: I See You...

We see a lot of leadership quotes on here. Inspiring, powerful messages about growth, resilience, and purpose.

But what if the reality in your workplace doesn’t match the posts?

What if you’re not growing - you’re surviving?

What if your ‘leader’ uses fear, intimidation, and ego to control?

What if you wake up anxious, sick to your stomach, dreading the day ahead?

Where do you go when no one’s talking about that kind of leadership?

Let’s get real for a moment - because this post isn’t for the glossy side of leadership.

This is for the what ifs.

I want you to hear this clearly: It’s not you.
People who bully, intimidate, over-power or belittle you and others in the workplace are often acting from deep insecurity.

Control gives them certainty. Intimidation gives them power. Your light threatens the parts of them they haven't faced.

But that doesn’t mean you have to dim your light to stay safe.
