During our visit with our Philippines-based team, we had the chance to step away from the everyday work and really talk about where SOE is heading and how we can work better together as we continue to grow.

We had honest conversations about the challenges we keep facing, where communication can improve and which processes need to become clearer. Most importantly, we discussed how these improvements can help us support our clients and trade partners more consistently.

Together, we mapped out our priorities for the next six months and spoke about the role each person can play in helping move the business forward.

A big thank you to our Philippines-based team for being so open, honest and committed throughout the discussions. We came away with clearer direction, stronger ownership and a lot of confidence in what we can achieve together as One SOE.

As a member of the Window Shading Association of Australia , SOE values access to industry resources that help trade professionals have clearer, more informed conversations with their customers.

A good example would be the WincovER Simulator that allows users to explore how different window furnishing products may influence heating and cooling energy demand in an Australian home. It considers factors such as the property type, location, climate, windows and selected shading product, then presents estimated energy and cost savings in a format that is easier to understand.

For SOE and our trade partners, tools like WincovER can help move the conversation beyond general product claims. They provide customers with a more practical way to compare options and understand how their selection may perform in their own home.

With winter placing greater focus on heating use and indoor comfort, this kind of information can support more confident and considered product recommendations.

Roller blinds in 4–6 working days. Curtains and outdoor in 10. We put those numbers out there because trade partners deserve to plan around something real.

An install day is never just about the blinds. It's the client who rearranged their week. The installer who blocked out the day. The trade partner who gave their word. When an order ships on time, all of that holds together.
