🚨 LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER 🚨 Are generational differences creating friction in your workplace?

Different expectations around communication, feedback, flexibility and management can be tricky to navigate. When left unaddressed, they can contribute to conflict and psychosocial risk.

THIS THURSDAY, join Venita Hudson for a practical session on how to manage generational differences, recognise emerging risks and equip line managers to step in early.

This November, 12 Amplify Alliance Australia scholarship recipients will join social enterprise leaders and changemakers from around the world at Social Enterprise Open Camp 2026 in Italy.

We’re proud to be backing their participation on the global stage, creating an opportunity to build international connections, experience different approaches and bring new ideas and learning back to organisations and communities across Australia.

They’ll also be joined by Australian SEOC 2026 Ambassador and Amplify Alliance CEO Debra Cerasa, connecting the Australian cohort into a much bigger global conversation about the future of social enterprise.

So, who’s heading to Italy?

Applications are now open for the 2026 Marsh Community Grant, with $7,500 available for one Amplify Alliance Member organisation to put towards a community-focused project or initiative.

It could help launch something new, strengthen work already underway or respond to an opportunity you’re seeing in your community.

If your idea contributes to Jobs, Home, Learning, Health, Social Justice or Social Connection, we want to hear about it.

With multiple generations now working side-by-side, different expectations can easily be written off as a “generational thing”. For managers, the more important question is what happens when those differences start creating conflict, pressure or psychosocial risk?

Executive Psychologist, Venita Hudson is joining us on 15 October to unpack how generational differences can show up at work — and the practical role line managers can play in spotting and addressing issues early.

A useful session for executives, line managers, People & Culture, WHS and senior leaders.

📅 Thursday 15 October
⏰ 10.00–11.00am AEDT

One paid registration allows additional colleagues from your organisation to attend at no extra cost.

Community and disability services roles have increasingly involved greater professional judgement, safeguarding responsibilities, behavioural support, regulatory compliance and accountability. And much of this predominantly female workforce has been historically undervalued.

The proposed SCHADS Award reforms seek to address that, including through a new classification framework and changes to minimum award wages.

For NFP employers, understanding the reform is a critical workforce issue (not just a compliance exercise!)

Our Workplace Relations specialists have unpacked what’s proposed and what employers need to know about the SCHADS Award changes to support NFPs.
