I never imagined I would build a business alongside my career as a Quantity Surveyor.

Hi, I’m Donna, living in Melbourne Australia with my husband and my one n only son.

In 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, while preparing to welcome my son, I decided to start something of my own. Since then, I’ve been developing it alongside my construction career, learning new skills and creating something aligned with my goals.

Today, I support people who are exploring alternatives to traditional employment and want to learn how to build a business of their own.

The business model I work with operates in 28 countries and provides an established framework for getting started, including:

𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝

You can have 10,000 followers and no real business.

And you can have 500 people who genuinely trust you and build something valuable.

Because followers are not customers.
Views are not relationships.
And going viral is not a business model.

Social media gives us something incredibly powerful:

Attention.

But that attention is borrowed.

Algorithms change.
Reach changes.
Platforms change.

What can remain is the trust and reputation you build with people.

Jeff Bezos once said:

“Your brand is what other people say about you when you’re not in the room.”

That is why building a digital business shouldn’t only be about asking:

“How can I get more followers?”

A much better question is:

“Why should someone trust me enough to listen, return, recommend me — or eventually do business with me?”

Trust is built slowly through what you teach, how consistently you show up, whether you keep your promises and whether people genuinely receive value from you.

So don’t build your digital business around being seen.

Build it around being remembered for something valuable.

Because attention might introduce someone to you.

Trust is what makes them stay.
