I have over 20 years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy to a diverse range of people and groups. I offer sessions in South Melbourne and am committed to offering authentic, respectful and compassionate psychotherapy and

relationship counselling to people from all walks of life. I moved into psychotherapy after spending time in Australian indigenous communties. Whilst being immersed in their art and culture, I felt a strong desire to alleviate suffering and injustice. At the time I was an art dealer working exclusively with talented indigenous artists and witnessed their exploitation. How could I be of service? This question set me on a personal and professional path of inquiry and a subsequent career move. I am often asked "how do you work?" as a therapist. My answer to this is that I do not follow just one model of working but rather incorporate skills and techniques from the many trainings and traditions I have studied. Each one of us has a unique process and I adopt the 'beginners mind' approach and look for what is trying to emerge, rather than adhere to a particular theory. Some of my particular interests and areas of experience are in
- somatic s*x education
- traditional and non-traditional relationships (polyamory, LGBTQI, kink)
- life changes
- lack of meaning and fulfilment in life
- anxiety, stress and depression
- compulsive behaviours
- self-sabotaging and destructive behaviours
- addictions and addictive tendencies
- self-esteem issues

yesterday I was fortunate enough to attend Darkside of the Rainbow, a full day of information on inclusivity & violence in LGBTIQ community. Thankyou to the Transgender collaborators and presenters for their sharing their personal narratives. I am grateful for the experience as I feel so much more aware of how violence and abuse affects us all when we marginalise anyone. Abuse & controlling behaviours are all around us, perhaps waking up to being more inclusive, we can create a better world.

In meditation and in our spiritual life there grows a kind of trust in our capacity to open, to change, and to transform no matter the circumstances we face. The shift of identity comes in recognizing

Pain x resistance = suffering. We all know this place. Why is it so familiar? Are we hard wired for suffering or is it that we can fall prey to the victim so easily. Are we addicted to suffering? Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
