The best investment I see founders avoid making?
Getting themselves out of the day-to-day.
Not because they don’t want to. But because it feels risky.
Like if they let go,even a little - something will fall over.
So they stay in it. Every decision. Every approval. Every follow-up.
And the business grows - but so does the weight of running it.
And here's what I’ve learned working inside founder-led businesses:
The founders who scale well aren’t the ones who work the hardest inside their business. They’re the ones who figured out - early enough - how to build a machine that runs without them in every room.
And you can't think of this as stepping back from your business. You have to realise it's stepping INTO the version of it that actually works.
Your job is to be strategically irreplaceable.
Not operationally indispensable.
If this is the shift you know you need to make but haven’t figured out how - then it's time we connect and I show you what I can do for you - and help to lift that weight off your shoulders.
