Yes high earning employees are taxed high, medium earnings are also taxed high; plus all the other taxes that are high that we all pay.

But as Tom Hird has stated that very successful entrepreneurs/business owners can move their money around “restructuring” to lower their tax;

What is not mentioned is that there are many Micro, Sole Traders and smaller businesses that earn between $30,000 to $150,000 a year and cannot use the same “restructuring” as the $1,000,000+ revenue businesses due to their much lower revenue.

Those Micro, Sole Traders and smaller businesses of $30,000 to $150,000 a year pay 30% tax rate plus 10% GST if over $75,000 yearly revenue.

As always it is the lower end that is getting the raw end of the deal even though these Micro, Sole Traders and smaller businesses are a big portion of employers in Australia.

This 2026 federal budget does nothing for Micro, Sole Traders and smaller businesses or entrepreneurship unless its government funded.

A leading economist and founder of an elite consultancy firm says says many Aussies have got it wrong about the incoming tax changes.

As Gina Rinehart States: “If you reduce the incentive and ability for people to invest, you reduce future discoveries, future mines, future jobs, future revenue and future growth for Australia at a time when our country sure needs it”.

CGT (Capital Gains Tax) and Negative Gearing should be abolished in Australia.

Many countries do not have CGT (Capital Gains Tax) and the ones that do have a much lower percentage rate of that tax;

also many countries don’t have negative gearing and so that is 1 part of the 2026 Australian federal budget that I agree with but should have been to completely abolish negative gearing as it is a bit of a housing market manipulation as where the mass uncontrolled immigration in Australia is a complete manipulation of the Australian housing market.

Australia has a diminishing private sector / private enterprise as it’s only the big corporation such as the mining and baking-financial industry that is private sector and our elected leaders assume that these private sector industries will create all the private sector careers but in reality they cannot create all the jobs.

Retail and hospitality is another sector but how many department stores, cafés and restaurants can you have to employee people? as the majority are casual / part time and the fake skilled visa’s immigrants!

Micro, Small and Medium enterprises have become the main private sector employers which is again diminishing as where the public sector has become the (overall main) job creators which is all paid by the government reaching $1 trillion debt and runaway inflation!

Australia has real opportunities “but has wasted so many and continue to waste the opportunities”

with our raw materials, resources; people with skills, abilities, knowledge and ambition to create and start and so government policies at all levels of government (Federal, State and Local) need to support our own entrepreneurs and their ideas because it is the private sector that will create the real sustainable jobs and careers.

"People are investing money they have already paid tax on ... and yet any profits they make on that reinvestment is now going to be subject to even higher taxes."

To get on first page or at top even with your website SEO was poorly done or none existing; if you paid Google, it will be at the top.

So will AI answers be the same, as in giving answers to who pays more?

Will the answers be only from high traffic sites?

Even as AI has improved a great deal, it may not take all the information available to it and so only provide what are instant answers.

At this time, there should be two sections in search that the user can click on; 1 for organic search and 1 for AI assistance.

Google search is getting its biggest shakeup in 25 years, and startups and small businesses may have some cause for concern.

If you have an idea, put it and yourself out there for all to know about you and your idea.

As Danielle Goodwin states:
“started the business with nothing”
“reinvesting every dollar back into the businesses”
“I was all in. When you’re starting with very little, everything feels like a risk, but I saw it more as backing myself”.

This is the entrepreneurial journey as it is a 24/7 way of life existence and it is very easy to stray from it and give up.

Yes; financial support, influences and connections backing you does help, helps a great deal but not all will have that and so you back yourself and try to obtain the connections or clients or customers as you grow and always on the lookout for the opportunities.

Anyone telling you if you do “this and that” you will succeed is lying to you because there is no guarantee that you will succeed but what is guaranteed is if you do not put your ideas out there, then you will not succeed.

A very simple business idea turned this Aussie into a millionaire. 👀💸

But will these super funds be allowed to invest and fund in what they want to or what is Labor government race and gender ideology mandated?

There is more to AI or some software company that does exactly the same thing as 10+ others and so investors and VC’s should lift their heads up and look around to see what else exist.

But the attitude is all the same as all end up throwing money at what is popular at that time while ignoring what else exist and losing a lot of money because the unicorn did not happen.

https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/allaboutfinance/do-loans-help-small-businesses-grow--looking-beyond-microfinance?

If a business has access to capital such as a loan and then can actually pay it back; then yes these loans do work.

But sometimes things do not go as planned as revenue “customers and clients” dry up or stop all together for a period of time and the business cannot make a few monthly payments or are using all these savings “if they have that buffer and most do not” and so a profitable established business can default due to these types of things happening.

Micro business and Sole Traders mainly fund themselves as they put their ideas out there and go all in 100% on it and can become a small to medium business and sometimes even a large corporation;

but because many Micro – Sole Trader businesses do not qualify for a loan and so a potential successful idea – business or solution to solve a problem ends up stuck as in looking for funding and investments “if they have the connections in government or corporate” if no connection then ends up fading away.

So I think the whole concept of lending to businesses “of any size” need to be assessed on each basis rather than a general rule of “approve and reject” and that it is not just banks to be the only lender as investors, corporation and government can lend to potential businesses.

The blog argues that evidence from microfinance doesn’t fully explain how credit affects established small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Drawing on a meta-analysis of 24 rigorous impact evaluations worldwide, it finds formal loans to existing SMEs have meaningful average impacts: about 12% ...

Make it easier - incorrigible for people with ideas to put their ideas out there by becoming entrepreneurs and starting their own business - private enterprise.

From an idea and starting from a Micro and Sole Trader business; it can grow to a small business and then to a medium business and sometimes to a large corporation.

It starts from an idea and from you putting that idea out there;

but as always; if government rules, laws, regulations and taxations are excessive and do not support private enterprise and only support public enterprise;

then entrepreneurships and entrepreneurs will not start anything, the private sector will be minimal and all would be reliant on government for everything.

With over 1 billion young people entering the workforce, creating jobs at scale will depend on getting business regulations, investment conditions, and private sector incentives right amid tight public finances.

This has been happing since the 1990’s so it is nothing new.

Let’s face it, the vast majority of gaining a job or career that you want or can do is if you have the right connection in government or corporate to get you in.

If you don’t have the connection; then what is available are the jobs that people don’t want because of the pay and conditions or they cannot do that type of work.

So if you don’t have the connections and don’t want or cannot do what is available; then you need to seriously consider becoming an entrepreneur and start your own business.

There is no guarantee that your ideas, products or services will succeed because again it’s all about connections and influences;

but it does give you a chance of succeeding as “you, your ideas, your product or service” is out there for all to see and can grow your network of connections and attract customer, clients or investment.

Entry-level and graduate roles are at their lowest levels in a decade, spurring concerns about AI’s impact on young workers’ development.

“Australian productivity and competition could stagnate”; not could, it has!

These types of “work” should not be registered businesses as they are “wage earner” as their only source of income is from an employer.

“federal government should consider such reforms in its own economic plans.”

but it is their plan to spew out fake skills shortages claims so they can do their huge influx of migration that do these solo side-hustlers gig work that adds to government tax revenue and job numbers and so as long as that is happening, our elected leaders won’t change anything.

“Competition”, what competition as everyone wants those government jobs and businesses to only have government as their customer because they pay high prices as where the private sector they will need to be competitive “charge lower price and provide better service”; the voter base won’t like that!

In the past, public private partnerships and government procurements did help small businesses to grow and expand which then allowed them to increase their products and services to the private sector-customers but since 2020 it’s all about what government allows.

MSME “Micro Small Medium Enterprises” have been the main business creators “providing a product, service or solving a problem” and creating jobs; this is a priority policy our elected leaders need to focus on because it is the real businesses that create real jobs and real GDP/money rather than the extreme bloated public sector-government jobs and enterprise that is all on borrowed money.

As an business owner and business consultant, I see and hear it all the time;

Why work for in Australia?

Why start a business in Australia as it’s taxed to oblivion and heavily regulated?

Why start a business in Australia where the cost of doing business “fees, chargers, insurance and excessive energy cost” is just not worth it “unless it’s a government funded enterprise”?

I will start a business only if it’s funded by the government or I get a government contact!

I will start a business only if it’s a successful startup like I read in the news articles and social media post!

How do I become an approved minority by the government, as I can then start a business as it will be a priority for government funding and procurement contracts!

This is not global shocks that our elected leaders have been spewing out; it’s is all due to lazy economic mismanagement and to increased their voter base “rely on government for everything” policies.

Solo side-hustlers and gig workers are behind rising business formation numbers, and without a steady supply of new employing businesses, Australian productivity and competition could stagnate.
