It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and we wanted to share how seriously we take Mental Health at work at Feed It Back . We recognise that some of our employees have or are having their own battle with Mental Health. Equally, they may be supporting someone close to them who is struggling with their mental health.

To start dealing with this issue we now have 3 Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) in the business who are on hand to support anyone who is struggling. In addition, the MHFA team have established a team-wellbeing Slack channel and are regularly sharing tips and advice to everyone. The aim is to not only support other team members but to de-stigmatise this issue.

We urge any business to recognise the importance of Mental Health at Work and to start making some small changes to support your teams.

We asked our Mental Health First Aiders a few questions to help businesses with this mission and we think you will find their answers really insightful, it will hopefully also help you start a journey helping deal with Mental Health in the Workplace. If you already have a strategy in place to deal with Mental Health at work, we'd love to hear what you are doing.

Our analysis is from 110k+ surveys and reviews from over 25 Competitive Socialising brands during a 6-month period. Our study highlights that the sector is significantly outperforming the industry reporting NPS scores of 70+ compared with the rest of UK hospitality performing at 60+.

As we ready ourselves for the long Easter weekend, we want to wish all our clients, partners and network a very Happy Easter. With the forecast finally looking much brighter, guests will be keen to head out to enjoy your hospitality. If you are working in a venue this weekend, here are our Easter essentials.

A smile goes a long way. Give your guests the best experience you can, they will reward you for it in the long run. Those team members that are engaging, talking about specials and reward schemes consistently score higher on service scores and drive your NPS up.

If things go crazy and you find yourself doing 3 people’s jobs, take a breath, keep your head up and communicate! Guests will forgive you if you keep them informed about service delays and unavailability of items. These common complaints can easily be handled with confidence and honesty.
