This quote is not about becoming cold. It is about understanding reality. People will come into your life, and some will leave when you need them most. Love may stay, or it may change. Friends may support you, or they may disappear. But your life cannot stop every time someone walks away.

At the end of the day, you are responsible for your own peace, growth, healing, and future. No one can carry your pain forever. No one can build your dreams for you. No one can save you if you refuse to save yourself.

That is why focusing on yourself is not selfish. It is survival. It means building your mind, protecting your heart, improving your life, and becoming strong enough to stand even when no one stands beside you.

Love people, but do not depend on them for your existence. Care for others, but never abandon yourself.

Because life continues, with or without anyone. Make sure you continue too.
