šŸ¦œ MAVERICK IS GETTING HIS HAIR DONE! šŸ¦œ

Wellā€¦ technically his feathers!

While most people are getting ready for the weekend, Maverick is busy in the Cotto 3D salon getting the VIP treatment ahead of his BIG public debut tomorrow.

Who knew that 3D printing would involve hair dryers, feather styling and a whole lot of patience? Mum has been hard at work shaping and positioning every feather to make sure Maverick is looking his absolute best for the big reveal, and trust usā€¦ heā€™s worth it.

TOMORROW MORNING
Weā€™ll be at the Carseldine Markets where Maverick will be making his very first public appearance!

TOMORROW NIGHT
Weā€™ll be back at Carseldine again for the Winter Wonderland Twilight Markets!

Itā€™s going to be a HUGE day for the Cotto crew with plenty of new creations, familiar favourites, Pepper the giant croc, Chibis, Telly Tappers and of courseā€¦ Maverick.

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY ETHAN!

Today we celebrate the man behind the brand, the founder, creator, printer operator, market stall manager, product tester, quality control officer, and sometimes even the boss of Mum and Dadā€¦

Fourteen years ago, Ethan entered the world, and little did we know he would one day create Cotto 3D Creations.

What started as a Christmas present and curiosity about 3D printing has grown into something bigger than expected . Thousands of customers, hundreds of markets, countless creations, and a business that has become a huge part of our familyā€™s journey.

We couldnā€™t be prouder of the young man Ethan is becoming. His creativity, determination, kindness and passion have helped build Cotto 3D Creations into what it is today.

From all of us at Cotto 3D Creations, thank you to everyone who has supported Ethanā€™s dream over the years. Every purchase, every like, every share and every kind word has helped make this journey possible.

Now please join us in wishing Ethan a very Happy 14th Birthday!

(And donā€™t worryā€¦ he still has to do his chores tomorrow. Being the boss doesnā€™t get you out of everything!)

BEHIND THE FEATHERS OF MAVERICK.

When people see Maverick this weekend, they see the finished masterpiece.

What they donā€™t see is everything that happens behind the scenes to bring him to life.

After more than 50 hours of printing, there was still plenty of work to do. Every feather needed to be carefully shaped and positioned to create this stunning bird.

And thatā€™s where Mum came inā€¦ šŸ˜‚

Who would have thought that joining the Cotto 3D team would eventually lead to becoming a bird hairdresser?

Armed with nothing more than a hair dryer, plenty of patience, and a steady hand, Mum carefully heated and shaped feather after feather, softening the plastic just enough to position them perfectly. Itā€™s one of those little details nobody noticesā€¦ until you donā€™t do it.

The result? A bird that looks ready to leap off its perch and take flight.

So next time you see Maverick, remember thereā€™s a whole lot more than just printing involved. Sometimes creating something amazing means spending time with a hair dryer styling feathers!

We reckon sheā€™s done a bloody good job. ā¤ļø

MEET MAVERICK

After more than 50 hours of printing and another 6 hours of assembly, weā€™re excited to finally reveal one of the most impressive creations weā€™ve ever produced at Cotto 3D Creations.

With hundreds of printed feathers, stunning vibrant colours and incredible detail from every angle, this piece is an absolute showstopper. Photos honestly donā€™t do it justice.

Every feather, every colour transition and every detail comes together to create something truly special. Itā€™s the kind of piece that makes people stop, stare and ask, ā€œHow on earth was that made?ā€

This is what we love about 3D printing, turning thousands of individual layers into something that looks like it could take flight at any moment.
