It gives me great gratitude and pleasure to share a podcast I recently did with one of the most amazing organisations in WA.
DV Assist is an organisation that provides free counseling, and specifically trauma counseling, for women in regional and rural and remote Western Australia who have left unhelpful family and domestic violence situations.
This podcast was a blessing and an opportunity for me to share a portion of my journey. It mostly is though, a way to show how I've used the written word through poetry to help heal my body from stored trauma.
The collection of poems written during that year of healing is called - The Phoenix Layers: Healing through words.
It will be published soon and used as a fundraising opportunity to donate money towards DV Assist.
I want to show there is a way forward with different modalities and there is life and after which really are once you get there.
