Last night I woke to marshmallow calling out…. The only@time he does this is during a full moon and it certainty a full moon….

We went out to investigate to find one of our chickens was missing.

We looked around for a while only to find this guy with a very full belly…

We share our property with lots of wildlife - koalas, platypus, birds, frogs, fish, eels and occasionally snakes. This is the reality of being in a rural area with a chicken buffet.

We spotted two koalas in a tree and watched this little interaction unfold. She pushed him away, and he certainly had something to say about it. We watched quietly from a distance and let them get on with it. Had you heard a koala call before?

Dinner is served.

One shake of the feed bucket and suddenly everyone has somewhere VERY important to be. 😂

Table manners? Non-existent.
Personal space? Also non-existent.

Just another perfectly civilised evening at the Palace. 👑

Like most Australians of a certain age, we grew up with Hamish & Andy

They made us laugh, kept us entertained on long drives and, after all these years, still hold a special place in our hearts.

So when two ridiculously hairy, slightly cheeky and exceptionally handsome boys arrived at Barney Creek… the names were obvious.

Meet Hamish & Andy. 🐮🤎

Just as handsome as the originals.
Possibly better hair.
Slightly less intelligent conversation.
