Bunnamagoo is the outcome of a long-standing interest of the Paspaley family in artisinal winemaking. The entrance is just past the Henry Lawson Memorial.

The focus is on individual traditionally-made wines, applying the same distinction and patience that brought them the success with their pearls. Our prize winning wines can now be tasted and purchased directly from our cellardoor - the most modern of its kind in Mudgee, as well as from your favourite restaurant or bottle shop. The Bunnamagoo Cellar Door is adjacent to the winery and surrounded by

Our Assistant Winemaker, Alex, discusses Bunnamagoo's 2026 Rosé, just in time for spring:

“Each season brings something different, and this year we embraced it. Our 2026 Rosé blend includes a little more Shiraz than usual, giving the wine its deeper color, along with a touch of Sangiovese for the first time, adding lift, complexity, and extra energy to the fruit profile.
Every vintage tells its own story; we balance quality with respect for the vineyard and the season, allowing each year's unique character to shine through.”

Behind the Bottle with Rick, Bunnamagoo's Winemaker!

"Chardonnay is my favourite variety to make!
Here at Bunnamagoo Estate Wines I am fortunate to play with around 120 individual barrel fermentations to create the Estate Range and Paspaley Reserve Chardonnay.

Each barrel has its own flavours and individual characteristics, informed by different oak toasts, yeasts, and picking dates, providing endless possibilities for how the final wine will turn out.

Being my first vintage with Bunnamagoo Estate Wines, the end result was a wine balancing fruit, oak, texture and the site specific saline/mineral acidity which my winemaking has a propensity to highlight in many of our wines".
