👩‍🦰FREE LOCAL WOMEN'S RESILIENCE PROGRAM🫶

Centacare will facilitate a free six-week wellbeing program in Naracoorte - starting on 4 February - designed to support and empower women.

The sessions will be held at Limestone Coast Training at 73 Smith Street, Naracoorte, on Wednesdays at 10am-noon.

The program outline is:
Week 1: Gratitude journaling and art therapy;
Week 2: Self-care (guest presenters from mental health services);
Week 3: Connections (Centacare guest presenters and Healthy Relationships presentation);
Week 4: Financial empowerment (guest presenter Commonwealth Bank);
Week 5: Looking ahead (guest presenters Axis Employment, Parenting Pathways and TAFE);
Week 6: Celebration.

The program has been well received in Mount Gambier and is being offered in Naracoorte through Centacare's Earlier Access to Support and Engagement Program.

Proud to be part of this incredible local initiative - Naracoorte really is on the front foot with fighting Domestic Violence and partnering our Police 💜 see you tomorrow arvo!

🤝POLICE & COMMUNITY WORKING TOGETHER MINI EXPO 🤝

As part of the international campaign of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, this police and community event brings together a huge range of support services for everyone to come and have a browse and find out more about the services available in our region.

Stands include DV support services, counselling services, mental health services, Dementia Australia, medical practitioners, women's health and well being and lots more.

12 months today of Power Mentality 💜

It's been a great first year, figuring out that running a business while also working, being a single mum and running a small farm alone is a challenge!
