RCCU TURNAROUND - Viva Energy
Another successful outcome to what has been an amazing experience for the Mechpro Solutions team at Viva Energy Geelong, just over 12 months ago, our team arrived on site to begin the detailed planning effort for this year’s major Turnaround. From that very first day, our focus was on building trust, working collaboratively, and setting the highest standards in safety, quality, and delivery.
The result? A project that we are extremely proud of. Through strong relationships, shared commitment, and genuine teamwork between the Mechpro Solutions and the Viva Energy teams, we achieved an outstanding outcome for all involved.
This success didn’t come by chance, it was the product of months of planning, countless hours of preparation, and a team who gave their all, every single day. The effort, professionalism, and dedication from our people on the ground was nothing short of inspiring.
A sincere thank you to the Viva Energy team for placing your trust in us to execute such critical works. Partnerships like this are built on mutual respect and shared values, and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a significant event.
We look forward to building on this strong foundation and continuing our relationship into the future.

🚀 Exciting News! 🎉
We are absolutely thrilled to congratulate our very own Apprentice Boilermaker, Doug Clarke, on receiving the prestigious Bert Evans Apprentice Scholarship through the NSW Department of Education! 🎖️👏
This incredible scholarship is awarded to individuals who display exceptional perseverance, dedication, and commitment to their education and career goals. Doug’s unwavering determination and passion for his trade makes him a truly deserving recipient and an inspiration to us all!
Doug’s journey with MPS began early in 2022 as a Rigger/TA, and after just 12 months, he took the initiative to approach management about pursuing an adult apprenticeship as a Boilermaker. From that moment, Doug has fully embraced his training and education, proving himself to be an invaluable asset to the team.
🔥 Congratulations, Doug! We are beyond proud of you and can’t wait to see your continued success! 🚀💪

Reflecting on an Incredible Project at Mechpro Solutions AU!
The past 12 months have been nothing short of extraordinary. We were awarded one of our largest fabrication packages to date: the manufacture and delivery of 14 Boiler Convection Banks for a customer in QLD. Each unit, weighing approximately 12 Tonnes, pushed our team to new heights and showcased our commitment to excellence.

A special thankyou to our client FFF Australia for having confidence and trust in us.

Just a few project numbers:
🔹 175 Tonnes of steel
🔹 10,192 beveled tubes
🔹 approx. 29 km of tubing and the manufacture of 14 headers
🔹 18,000 man-hours in fabrication
🔹 54,200 total welds, which included 5,300 Butt Welds
🔹 99.96% NDE compliance

More impressive, all this was done with zero safety incidents; all this would not have been possible without the dedication and expertise of our incredible team and the invaluable support of our trusted contractors:
🎨 KGB (Painting and Blasting)
⚙️ Service Wear Engineering (Hot metal spray)
🧪 Beralon (Chemical Cleaning)
🔍 IRIS (NDT)
🚚 Woods Haulage (Transport)
🏗️ Wheeler Cranes

Thank you all for your outstanding contributions. Here's to a year of hard work, collaboration, and success—and to even greater milestones ahead! 💪
