Another part of the plant getting some much-needed attention during a recent shutdown.

Our team is carrying out platform and stair replacement works, helping restore access, improve safety and keep the plant maintained to the standard our clients expect.

From planning and preparation through to the work at height, it’s all about having the right people, the right equipment and a team that knows how to get the job done safely and efficiently.

When a critical part needs to move — we move it.

Last swing, our R8D team helped get two critical bearings from Brisbane to site as quickly as possible.

At 165kg each, these weren’t exactly a couple of parts you could throw in the back seat!

With the bearings flown in on a hot shot, our team was on hand to receive them and safely manage the unload and movement into position.

A great example of the teamwork, planning and can-do attitude that goes into keeping our clients moving when the pressure is on.

Big shoutout to our Rigger Josh for getting stuck in and helping safely move these heavy components. 💪

Another major shutdown successfully wrapped up, with the R8D team supporting our client through a critical stacker chute replacement.

From the old chute and existing infrastructure through to the completed installation, this was a job that required solid planning, experienced trades and a strong focus on safety, quality and getting the work done right.

Major shutdowns are all about teamwork — working safely, working efficiently and making every minute count to get the plant back online.

A great effort from everyone involved and another project we're proud to have been part of.

🏆 Congratulations Gary, on receiving a Contractor's Prize Award from our valued client! 🏆

Being away for 4 weeks on a project in North Queensland, Gary was recognised for his outstanding commitment, professionalism, and workmanship throughout the duration of the project.

As part of the award, he received a certificate of recognition and a $750 prize – a well-deserved reward for consistently demonstrating the high standards that we pride ourselves on at R8D Industries.

Supporting these young ladies in discovering career opportunities via apprenticeship pathways, we proudly served as a small sponsor to facilitate their insight.

TOOLKIT FOR GIRLS | Students attended 'Toolkit for Girls' at Mackay Engineering College Trade Training Centre recently for a hands-on day exploring careers in trades.

The experience is designed to inspire young women to consider future apprenticeships and pathways in the trade industries. A big thank you to for providing the shirts for our students - your support is greatly appreciated.
