Common queries with Tips one should follow while preparing your CDRs.
1:The first reasons of comments from Engineers Australia is plagiarism. Many of the Engineers who want ot migrate to Australia have misconception regarding Plagiarism. High plagiarism might be due to similar content from the internet sources, previous reports submitted to Engineers Australia, submitted to different universities and colleges, etc. Although you might have written it yourself, it may be exposed to plagiarism as Engineers Australia checks similarity contents from the previous CEs and records the submitted CEs in thier database which will surely contain almost the same keywords and content. Plagiarism is of one of the serious issue considered as they might ask for the sources or reports that you have prepared yourself during the time of study or your work (if work experience is validated as well). If you cannot provide the reports or sources, they will impose a ban for a year a more.

Tip 1: Check for the plagiarism using turinitin which assures you of the exact plagiarism content. Engineers Australia allows upto 10% of plagiarism, but its recommended to keep it below 5%. For rewrites, its better to remove the plagiarism content to 0 or below 2%.

2: People who submitted thier CEs before April might tell you they used different AI tools such as Chatgpt, Wordtune, etc to write their CEs and recieved the positive outcome. This is not the case as of now. After turinitin introduced AI detection in thier interface as well, people are getting banned for its used and its most common reason for getting banned now.

Tip 2: Avoid using Chatgpt or other AI tools and check for the AI using using Turinitin as well.

3: Plagiarism can also be exposed due to figures, calculations, formulas involved, etc you copied or referred to.

Tip 3: Check for the figure paths, alt texts, GCs, grammatical mistakes, etc.

4: Refer to the MSA booklet properly to improve your competency in your career episodes and
