Registrations are now open! Weld Australia has partnered with Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) to deliver Welding Supervisor training and ISO 9606 welder certification in Mackay. MSQ is funding 50% of training costs for eligible participants.

It's a cost-effective way for Queensland manufacturers to build workforce capability and strengthen compliance across their welding operations.

βŒ– ISO 9606 WELDER QUALIFICATIONS | MACKAY

iScope will be delivering ISO 9606 Welder Qualifications training at our Mackay facility from 23–27 November.

The program combines structured theory, practical welding training and examination, providing welding personnel with the opportunity to gain formal qualifications for the welding processes and positions they routinely perform, or to upskill in additional processes.

βŒ– Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMAW/111)
βŒ– Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MAG/135)
βŒ– Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW/MAG/136)

Dates: 23–27 November

Our trade qualified Welding Inspectors and Welding Supervisors bring practical, first hand site experience to every session, providing focused supervision and individual support throughout the qualification process.

βŒ– Glencore GCAA Levels 1 and 2
βŒ– Boom and Lacing welding qualifications
βŒ– FCAW, GMAW, MMAW and GTAW
βŒ– Plate and pipe positions from 1G to 6GR
βŒ– Small-group sessions capped at four welders
βŒ– Equipment, consumables and test materials supplied

Congratulations to Josh Kemp and Hayden Di**le, who have both achieved their AS 2214 Welding Supervisor certification through Weld Australia.
