EHS Assess, an update….

There has been lots going on behind the scenes within EHS Assess with an office move to our new office at 88 Miller St, West Melbourne. As of the end of this week and after 5 years or so we will no longer be based at 55a Street, Kensington and will be moving to our new and beautiful space at 88 Miller. All future correspondence can be direct to Miller Street or our PO Box which remains unchanged. Our phone numbers and email also remain unchanged.

Adding to the above, our QLD expansion is on track with Aarron Smart and Kathleen Tunnecliffe relocating to the region the first week of May 2025. Having met with new and existing clients in the region last week, we are buzzing and ready to hit the ground running with an impressive, secured pipeline of work. This is a testament to the team, Aarron, Kathleen and our loyal national customer base supporting us and making this possible.

Today we are assisting our healthcare client implement one of the final steps (Fit Testing) in their Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) as per recent DHHS requirements. At EHS Assess we do things differently and better! Here we worked with our client to develop the framework for their RPP, assisted them in sourcing the required equipment and training of their workers and now they are rolling out their Fit Testing program internally to meet their needs and timeframes. With the right team and our expertise this was achieved in a couple of weeks.

In September 2020, DHHS released the Victorian Respiratory Protection Program Guidelines to provide guidance and a minimum standard on how to introduce a Respiratory Protection Program in a health care setting. Using the guideline, EHS Assess are working with a number of our healthcare clients to develop and implement their Respiratory Protection Program including the requirements of training and fit testing. Post cleaning validation of a building site following a positive COVID-19 case. The use of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) for hygiene status has been adopted by EHS Assess in this instance and is recommended by IICRC, RIA and IAQA as an indicator of residual contamination of biological origin remaining on a surface.
