We are pleased to have been a part of greater significance than a standard house this week. Goldfields Plastering and Construction were honored to participate in the Build It For The Kids 2 project in collaboration with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. This initiative transcends a typical construction project, emphasizing community, empathy, and the creation of meaningful spaces for families in need. We appreciate the opportunity to play a role alongside numerous skilled tradespeople, volunteers, and supporters who are bringing this vision to fruition. Considerable effort was dedicated to ensuring every detail met the highest standards. We extend our gratitude to all involved parties and commend the project's noble cause.

Soffits for days on this one!

The team at Goldfields Plastering & Construction have been busy installing a new ceiling system ready for the chippies to fix their cladding to. This was no small job — over 160m² of ceiling completed in just 3 days.

Using a Rondo system, the design had to account for both wind load and weight factors, so everything was built precisely to specification. A fair bit went into this one, but the crew stepped up and delivered a solid result.

Great to see the structure taking shape and ready for the next stage.
