🤝 Collaboration is where real client impact happens.

This week was a strong example of that in action, as I collaborated with Kate Wright to explore Strategic Planning, brand positioning, and marketing strategy — all focused on better aligning to client needs.

Together, we worked with a group of leaders and stakeholders to unpack future direction, member experience, and opportunities for growth.

What stood out most:
✨ People leaning in with honesty and openness
✨ Diverse perspectives lifting the quality of thinking in the room
✨ Space created for ideas that don’t usually get voiced
✨ A shared commitment to doing things better, not just differently

The conference will be hosted at Deakin University Waterfront, with a full week of festival-style events planned. The main conference will run from 14 to 16 October, surrounded by opportunities for connection, experimentation, and shared learning.

The theme for the Conference is ‘Facilitation in Action – From Agenda to Transformation’, and the streams are:

Many organisations struggle because plans are not trackable or regularly reviewed. Teams are often excluded from the planning process, resulting in low buy-in. Unclear or shifting roles and responsibilities mean that priorities slip through the cracks. Without ownership, follow-up, and clear accountability, even the best plans can stall. This highlights the importance of clarity and ownership in turning plans into results.
