Tennant Minerals has released its Activities Report for Quarter ended 30 June 2024. Highlights include:

â—ľ The 2024 season commenced, and the company completed its first program which comprised of 22 reverse circulation (RC) drillholes for 6,253m. The drilling successfully tested the eastern and western extents of the known high-grade copper-gold mineralisation at Bluebird and included the first new step out drilling towards the prospective Perseverance targets located 1.5km to the west of Bluebird.

Samples from the drilling program have been submitted to Perth Laboratories and assay results will be collated and reported to the market on receipt.

â—ľ The Company received further results from ongoing metallurgical test-work of diamond drill core samples from Bluebird. Results from flotation test-work on bulk-samples, confirmed excellent flotation recoveries and high-concentrate grades of and .

â—ľ A successful capital raising of $4.78M was completed which ensures the Company can pursue its planned exploration drilling activities for 2024.

CEO Vincent Algar commented:

“This year’s drilling and field programs will be transformational for the Company as we progress towards defining a maiden Mineral Resource and commencement of development studies. All metallurgical test work has exceeded expectations. These activities will continue to define Tennant Minerals as a key player in the rejuvenated Tennant Creek Mineral Field – a field that has already produced over 5.5Moz of gold and 700kt of copper.”

Tennant Minerals reports high 29.6% and 3.96 g/t concentrate grades and excellent recoveries in test-work at its Bluebird high-grade copper-gold discovery.

The latest test-work results come as the Company prepares to launch a new program at Bluebird aimed at defining a maiden Mineral Resource and testing new target zones.

Tennant Minerals CEO, Vincent Algar commented:
“Building on our significant initial copper flotation test-work results, the latest more detailed cleaner-flotation tests, conducted over a wider range of material types, demonstrates the Bluebird copper and gold mineralisation can consistently deliver high-grade and potentially commercial copper concentrates of 24%-29% copper with gold content of up to 4 g/t. High copper recoveries which are consistently over 90%, and up to 98%, also underline the potential for positive outcomes from future economic studies into mining and extraction to produce a saleable copper and gold concentrate.

“These excellent results give us further encouragement as we prepare for our next drilling phase at Bluebird to continue expanding this exciting high-grade copper-gold discovery. Our overall goal is to establish a substantial resource base within our 100%-owned Barkly Project, which will support a stand-alone mining and processing operation at a time of increasing global demand for both copper and gold.”

Tennant Minerals has completed a very successful, oversubscribed, capital raising to sophisticated and professional investors to raise $4.8 million (before costs) to fund key drilling programs and development studies at the Barkly Project, 40km east of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.

Drilling will be focused on expanding and defining the Bluebird high-grade - discovery as well as testing other high-priority targets within the 2.5km long Bluebird- Perseverance corridor and on the Babbler project to the south. Drilling is set to commence in a matter of weeks as weather conditions in the Northern Territory improve.

Tennant Minerals CEO, Vincent Algar commented:

“The new funding will allow us to commence a substantial drilling program as soon as possible.
“Our objective is to identify multiple, multi-million tonne, copper-gold deposits within the 100% Tennant owned Barkly Tenements and establish a resource base to support a stand-alone mining and processing operation.”

Tennant Minerals is preparing to commence its next phase at the high-grade Bluebird - Project and will include testing of multiple targets within an expanded 2.5km strike-length mineralised footprint.

Part of this new drilling program will test the Perseverance ironstone target, 2km west of Bluebird, where interpretation of gravity and magnetic models has identified a major target beneath high-grade results in historical drilling.

The outcomes of this will be combined with the results of metallurgical test-work currently in progress to produce a maiden Mineral Resource model for the Bluebird discovery.

Tennant Minerals first pass metallurgical test work on drill core composite from its Bluebird project has recovered up to 97% of the copper into a concentrate grading 23% and 1.5g/t .

This represents a 10-fold increase in copper and four-fold increase in gold from the diamond drill intersection of 61.8m @ 2.3% copper and 0.4g/t gold including 13.2m @ 9.6% copper and 1.51g/t gold.

The metallurgical test work was carried out to determine overall copper and gold recovery parameters for typical mineralisation seen in shallow and deeper copper-gold bearing intersections, which will enable the company to determine the optimal extraction process for Bluebird mineralisation.

Tennant Minerals today announced initial results of metallurgical test-work on diamond drill core samples from the high-grade Bluebird - discovery in the Northern Territory. The metallurgical test-work was undertaken to determine overall copper and gold recovery parameters for typical mineralisation seen in shallow and deeper copper-gold bearing intersections, enabling the Company to determine the optimal extraction process for the Bluebird mineralisation.

• The results showed that up to 97% of the copper and 66% of the gold can be extracted via conventional flotation, delivering a concentrate grading 23% copper (Cu) and 1.5 g/t gold (Au).

• The flotation upgrade represents a 10-fold increase in copper and a 4-fold increase in gold concentration from the diamond drillhole intersection in BBDD0045 of 61.8m @ 2.3% Cu, 0.4 g/t Au including 13.2m at 9.6% Cu, 1.51 g/t Au.

• Separate (Falcon) gravity concentration test-work conducted on the master composite sample (BB_45_1) showed a 3-fold increase in gold concentration recovering 32.6% of the gold and 15.7% of the copper. Intense cyanidation leaching of the gravity concentrate was able to extract 90.2% of the contained gold recovered in the gravity circuit. Further work will explore further gravity concentration and leaching stages, in conjunction with flotation, to potentially increase overall gold recovery.

CEO Vincent Algar commented:

“The significant initial copper flotation results with 23% copper and 1.5 g/t gold in concentrate, and the high copper recoveries of up to 97%, are extremely encouraging and indicate potential for positive outcomes from future economic studies into mining and extraction to produce a saleable copper and gold concentrate.

“Copper with gold concentrates of this grade are potentially economic at current copper and gold prices, and provide the Company with a strong incentive to continue drilling, advance metallurgical test-work and define a maiden Mineral Resource.

“We look forward to launching our next drilling program to define and extend the enlarged mineralised footprint as we progress plans to establish a stand-alone mining and processing operation to capitalise on the resurgent global demand for copper and gold.”

The Bluebird Project is part of Tennant Minerals 100% owned Barkly Project which comprises two exploration licences located 40km east of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. The mineralisation intersected at Bluebird is typical of the high-grade - orebodies previously mined in the Tennant Creek Mineral Field, which produced over 5.5Moz of gold and over 700kt of copper from 1934 to 2005.

Drilling to date at Bluebird has identified copper-gold mineralisation over an 800m strike length and now to over 400m depth.

has adopted a dual strategic approach of defining the Mineral Resource potential of Bluebird whilst also testing other key targets in the expanded 2.5km Bluebird-Perseverance corridor.

20/03/2024

Vincent Algar, Tennant Minerals CEO, informs Wally Graham of Resources Roadhouse of the ' progress in the Northern Territory while at the 2024 Brisbane Mining Investment Conference.

Vincent provided an update on the next phase at the high-grade Bluebird - Discovery. The new drilling will include testing of multiple targets within an expanded 2.5km strike length mineralised footprint, including the Perseverance Target - 2km west of Bluebird.
