LineSaver™ is a single-use initiating systems (IS) retention device for use in quarries and open cut mining operations. The unit is designed to prevent inadvertent loss of leads and connectors down the blast hole during charging operations. Made from compostable PFAS-Free renewable organic materials, this product is designed to compost in waste or be consumed in the downstream processing. Single use means no retrieval labour cost and mitigation of injury risk when handling and transporting. LineSaver™ is water resistant, environmentally friendly, relatively inexpensive, and complies with Australian Standard AS4736-2006 (Biodegradable Plastics). Australian Standard Patent pending.
