Change is as good as a holiday; a whole life upheaval to the otherside of the country is as good as, well, it’s just pretty great.

Last week my partner and I had our belongings shipped across the country, he flew over to start his new job and I drove 5 days and 3,600 kms taking in the views, and just really connecting with myself along the way!

Racquel Kerr Consulting will be taking a backseat for a minute while I get settled in, and will be on a request/ commission only basis as I start my new job with GHD. ☺️

We are now based in Boorloo (Perth), and couldn’t be any more excited! I would love to connect with community and businesses over here, shoot me a message if you’d love to link up and have a yarn!

All I can say is wow. 6 months have gone so fast, and here we are at the end of the year! I cannot thank everyone enough for your support and love as I literally hit the ground running from project to project.

I have been incredibly blessed to do a range of work from Bushfire Recovery Strategy engagement with mob out Gippsland, helping facilitate succession planning for Traditional Owners in cultural burning, to helping .consultants kick off their first ever Reconciliation Action Plan, plus some. 🥰

With that said, it’s Christmas and end of year. As much as I love my work, I also love balance. Racquel Kerr Consulting will be offline from Dec 18 2022- 16 Jan 2023.

My books are still open for 2023 work and collaborations, so please speak now or hold your peace until the new year! Shoot me an email at [email protected] if you wanna have a yarn.

Please all have an amazing holiday, and be safe. Can’t wait to launch into 2023 with you all 🖤💛❤️ Racq xx

The most rewarding thing that has risen from this, is the ripple effects of such visibility of our community. Art has influence, and to be able to create something of this scale was just, well… my younger self would be astounded. Just like I am.

"This allows one of our own to be artistic and bring to life something significant."

Bunjil has entered the building- literally.
I REPEAT, BUNJIL HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING 😍.
No amount of caps lock could contain this excitement. 🥲
Thanks to Shane for sending me this photo of all the panels together, and to Kah Fai for the sneak peek on the inside!

DID YOU KNOW?

Establishing a personal connection is vital. Regardless of the subject matter, people will not simply engage or actively listen just because you’re talking to them.

When we talk about culture, tradition, past and present- we create an open door that brings people on a journey of common goals and interests, piquing curiosity and allowing others to share their stories; creating an interwoven future based on respect, learnings and the excitement of what’s possible. There’s a reason why we are the oldest storytellers in the world. 🖤💛❤️
