At WA MOBILISATIONS we are incredibly proud of our Women Are Machines team taking on the 50K in May challenge for MS Australia 💛

Our Director Christy set herself an even bigger challenge and is now just 15km away from completing an amazing 100km effort 🏃‍♀️🔥

The team has been working hard to raise funds, but we are still hoping to reach our fundraising goal of $500 before the month wraps up.

If any of our clients, friends, supporters or followers are able to spare a few dollars, we would be so grateful for your support. Every donation helps support Australians living with MS and contributes to vital research and services 🫶

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated, shared, encouraged and supported the team along the way. The resources industry always shows up when it matters most ⛏️💙💛

I'm raising money for a cause close to my heart and would love your support.

This year, the team at WA MOBILISATIONS is fundraising for MS Australia by taking on the 50K in May challenge! 🏃‍♀️

We’re looking a little dismal on the donation front, so we’d be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small 🫶

Christy has committed to smashing out 100km and is already 63km down, with 47km to go. The legs and Cooper may be questioning Christy's life choices, but the cause is worth it 💪

Please get behind Christy and the WA MOBILISATIONS team as we support this amazing cause. 💙

I'm raising money for a cause close to my heart and would love your support.

What a weekend for WA football!! 💙💛🔥

West Coast Eagles finally gave WA fans something to smile about, and our Director Christy Phillips-Hunter got the celebrations started early by firing up the epic fire pit won from Mining Steels Australia 👏🔥

Honestly, Perth hasn’t seen a hotter combo since summer and FIFO camp aircons battling for survival 😅

Huge thanks to the team at Mining Steels Australia for putting together such an awesome giveaway.

Safe to say Cooper the Office Manager has already claimed prime position by the fire 🐶🔥

Now we just need the Eagles to keep the streak alive… and maybe Christy should test the luck with a Lotto ticket next 🎟️👀

and a congratulations to the other WA team winning their game against Essendon... ⚓

0KM IN MAY… LET’S GO 🏃‍♀️💥

This May, WA MOBILISATIONS is stepping up (literally) to take on the 50km challenge to support those living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

What started as a “50km goal” may have quietly turned into… a lot more running (because why not keep things interesting 😅), but it’s all for a cause that impacts so many Australians and their families.

MS is unpredictable, often invisible, and life-changing — and the funds raised go towards vital research, support services, and helping people live better, longer lives.

So, whether it’s early morning runs, late-night walks, or squeezing in kilometres between mobilisations… we’re committed to getting it done 💪

If you’d like to support the journey (or just cheer us on as the kilometres stack up), we’d love your backing ❤️

Let’s make every kilometre count.

🌺Today, on ANZAC Day 2026, we pause to reflect.🌺

Across Western Australia and around the country, communities gather at dawn services, marches and memorials to honour the courage, sacrifice and enduring spirit of the men and women who have served our nation

ANZAC Day is more than a date on the calendar.

It is a moment to remember those who stood in service before us, those who continue to serve today, and the families who stand beside them.

For many of us, remembrance is personal. Many Australian families carry stories of service, resilience and mateship that have been passed down through generations.

These stories remind us of the freedoms we enjoy and the responsibility we share to honour that legacy.

Here in Western Australia, we also acknowledge the proud and ongoing service of First Nations Australians, including the many Noongar men and women who have served our country with distinction, often in times when they were not granted the rights they fought to protect.

At WA MOBILISATIONS, today we take time to reflect, to remember and to give thanks.

🎉Happy Birthday to our Office Manager, Cooper for yesterday!

Today we’re celebrating the very important birthday of the real boss at WA MOBILISATIONS… Cooper 🐾 🐕 💕

As Office Manager, Cooper takes his responsibilities very seriously, including:

• Supervising all snack breaks
• Conducting random morale checks
• Ensuring everyone takes proper walking meetings
• Providing essential stress-relief cuddles

His leadership style is firm but fair… especially if treats are involved 🥩

From all of us at WA MOBILISATIONS, we hope your day is filled with extra treats, belly rubs, and absolutely no meetings. 🎂🐶

In the Lead Up to ANZAC Day, the team WA MOBILISATIONS are taking time to reflect on the Sacrifice of our Indigenous Servicemen

Western Australia Remembers

Of the 18,000 Australians who served during the Korean War, at least 60 were First Nations Australians who served across the Navy, Army and Air Force.

Many served despite significant barriers and discrimination at the time.

Here in Western Australia, Noongar man Sergeant Ken Colbung served in Japan and Korea with the Australian Army at a time when he could not vote or travel freely in his own country.

Like many First Nations servicemen and women, he served with courage, pride and a deep commitment to Australia.

Their stories are an important part of our nation’s history and of the enduring tradition of First Nations service.

This ANZAC Day, we remember their service and sacrifice.

Lest we forget

This commemorative poster honours the service of First Nations people during the Korean War. It shows Torres Strait Islander, Lance Corporal Clive Kevin 'Joe' Vea-Vea, in Korea. He served with the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR) during the Korean War

A big thank you to Mining Steels Australia Australia for the fantastic fire pit prize !! Not a bad way to start a Tuesday 🥇

Will definitely get plenty of use during those crisp WA winter weekends ❄️

Now all we need is a West Coast Eagles win 😁 , a few good stories around the fire, and winter is sorted. 🦅🔥 🙃 🍷

WA MOBILISATIONS founder Christy Phillips-Hunter with Paige McMillan from Brothers Mining MaintenanceBrothers Mining Maintenance attended WA Mining Club Luncheon this week at Optus Stadium sponsored by SGS - thank you for the periodic table glass cleaner ! Great Idea from a glasses wearer 👓

The room was full of sharp minds, big ideas, and plenty of optimism about where our industry is heading. 🤝

Had the pleasure of sitting next to Shadow Treasurer Sandra Brewer MLA GAICD — always a bonus finding a fellow West Coast EaglesCoast Eagles supporter in the crowd 🦅

A big thank you to the presenters Mark Bennett, Mike Jones, Margaret Hawke and Steve Beresford for sharing their insights on exploration and what the future holds. ⛏️ 🙌

Plenty to think about as WA continues to lead from the front. ⚒️

Congratulations to Jemima Reid from Barminco on receiving the scholarship — a fantastic achievement and a great reflection of the talent coming through our industry. 🎉

And a special mention to Christine Croft for the incredible work she continues to do with the scholarship program. The impact of that work doesn’t go unnoticed. 💕

Events like this are a great reminder of the strength of the WA mining community — connected, forward-thinking, and backing the next generation. 🌎

And a shoutout to the wait staff - not only do you provide a great service, one attendant has to be mentioned for his amazing moustache! See if you can spot him in the pictures 🧔 🙌
