Another happy customer ✅

This client was having ongoing issues with pigeons taking over his grain sheds and workshops — leaving a mess and causing damage to the space.
We carried out a thorough removal and were able to take care of: • 47 pigeons
• 19 eggs
• 8 nests
The difference is already massive, with the sheds now cleaner, safer, and back under control.
We’ll be returning soon for a follow-up visit to make sure everything stays on track and to prevent any reinfestation.
If you’re dealing with pest birds around your property, don’t leave it too long — it only gets worse. Get in touch and we’ll sort it out 👍

Dambart Bilya Landcare is always ready to travel wherever the work takes us — no job too far, no challenge too tough.

Tonight I'm camping down in Albany, getting ready to tackle another round of pigeon control first thing in the morning.

Keeping our communities and facilities safe, clean, and pest-free — it’s what we do best.

🐦 On Site for Pigeon Control at a Hazardous Facility 🧤☣️

On site today for Djilba Land Management to carry out pigeon control operations.
On completion, we took every precaution — decontaminating all gear, equipment, and PPE to ensure there’s no risk of cyanide contamination.

Safety and environmental care come first on every job. Protecting people, wildlife, and the site is what it’s all about. 💪🌿

Proud to stand alongside Djilba and the Traditional Owners on the legislative committee as they voice the real impacts these new firearm laws will have on community and culture. Their knowledge, experience, and responsibility to Country deserve to be heard and respected in every decision made.

Always backing the strength and leadership of our Traditional Owners.

Djilba Land Management Update

Today, we had the opportunity to give evidence at the Parliamentary Hearing into the 2024 Fi****ms Reform Bill. Alongside other invited Traditional Owners, we shared our lived experiences of how these new laws impact us, our communities, and our cultural practices.

What we made clear is this:
• There has been little to no genuine consultation, not just with Traditional Owners, but also with retailers, clubs, and community members.
• The laws, as they stand, are unfair, overpowering, poorly thought out, and untested.

Despite widespread feedback before and after its drafting, The government continue to push it forward under the banner of “community safety.”

As one of Australia’s greatest legal minds once said – “It’s the vibe!” – and the vibe of this reform is all wrong.

We will keep standing up for fair, balanced, and respectful laws that protect safety without eroding rights or ignoring culture.

Like my old Pop said, “Too many hands pulling the blanket and we going to be in the cold!”

Really grateful to be out on Country with Djilba Land Management, doing work that actually means something 🌿

One of the biggest issues we deal with is feral pigs — they do serious damage to the land, water, and native wildlife. They tear up bushland, destroy habitats, and spread disease. It’s a big problem that doesn’t get talked about enough.

Being part of the effort to protect and care for Country is something I don’t take for granted. Every bit of work matters. 🐗🌏

At Dambart Bilya Landcare, we work to protect and restore the local environment. One important part of this is managing rabbits, which can have a big impact on native plants and animals.

🐰 Why does rabbit control matter?
Rabbits are an introduced species that:
✅ Damage native vegetation, making it harder for local wildlife to survive
✅ Contribute to erosion and land degradation
✅ Compete with native animals for food and shelter

⚖️ Is it ethical?
We take a responsible and humane approach to rabbit management, using methods that reduce their impact while minimizing harm. This helps protect the balance of our ecosystems so that native species can thrive.

By working together, we can help restore the land for future generations. Message Dambart Bilya Landcare to learn more!

Last night we teamed up with Djilba Land Management to conduct a much-needed pigeon control at an industrial site. Pigeons might seem harmless, but in reality, they’re a major problem for businesses and the environment.
Why Pigeons Are a Big Issue:
⚠ Health Risks – Pigeons carry diseases like salmonella, E. coli, and cryptococcosis, posing serious risks to workers and the public.
⚠ Property Damage – Their acidic droppings corrode metal, concrete, and machinery, leading to costly repairs.
⚠ Business Disruptions – Pigeon infestations contaminate workspaces, damage stock, and create safety hazards.
⚠ Native Wildlife Impact – They outcompete native birds for food and nesting spots, disrupting ecosystems.
By working with Djilba Land Management , we ensured the control was carried out ethically, efficiently, and in line with environmental standards. This partnership supports both effective pest control and sustainable land management, helping businesses stay clean and compliant.
If your site is dealing with a pigeon problem, don’t wait until the damage is done—take action now!
