ANNUAL SECURITY SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

At Decode Security & Data, we offer annual maintenance services to help keep your CCTV and alarm systems running reliably and performing as they should.

Regular servicing can help identify potential issues early, keep your system up to date and ensure your security setup continues to meet your needs.

Annual CCTV Maintenance Includes:

🟢Clean camera lenses and remove cobwebs or obstructions
🟢Reposition cameras if required
🟢Redraw intrusion lines for alerts if required
🟢Update NVR and camera firmware
🟢Check hard drive performance and adjust recording settings if needed
🟢Check deterrence schedules for strobe lights and audible warnings on TiOC/ACDC turrets
🟢Thorough system check to ensure everything is working correctly and alerts are functioning as required
🟢Set up the app on new devices or provide assistance with footage retrieval and playback if required

Annual Alarm Maintenance Includes:

🟢Inspect and clean detection devices, including PIRs, door reeds and window sensors
🟢Inspect the alarm panel
🟢Check alarm battery and power supply, including battery replacement if required
🟢Test internal and external sirens
🟢Test wireless keyfobs
🟢Reset entry codes and add users if required
🟢Review pet-friendly parameters if required
🟢Thorough system check to ensure everything is working correctly
🟢Check arming and disarming across all armed entry points
🟢Set up the app on new devices or provide assistance with app use if required

Not necessarily. Resolution is important, but there’s more to getting a clear, useful image than megapixels alone.

So instead of simply choosing the highest MP, it’s worth choosing a camera that suits the location and what you need it to capture.
