Thanks to everyone who nominated for the Quorn Business Group committee at the recent AGM.

We still have two key vacancies to fill for 2026:
Chair/President and Secretary.

Here's a quick overview of what these roles involve:

Chair/President
*Chairs the meetings
*Is the spokeperson for the group

Secretary
*Prepares agendas and minutes (templates are provided)
*Manages incoming/outgoing correspondence (this is very minimal - mostly emails)

If you're a current member interested in nominating, or a local business owner who'd like to join the committee to take on one of these roles, please email us [email protected]

A special general meeting will be scheduled soon (with 14 days' notice) to formalise the new committee for 2026.

Are you a business that operates within the Flinders Ranges & Outback region that has tourists passing through? A direct provider, such as Hospitality? Accommodation? Tour guide? ... Maybe even indirect, such as a Roadhouse? Mechanic? Auto-parts supplier?

With the summer months fast approaching and the visitor numbers decreasing we thought it would be a great chance for a REGIONAL CHECK-IN before we all 'check-out' for the end of season.

No doubt you're feeling the fatigue like many operators in the region, so a nice short, sharp and shiny online session is all we need to touch base with all of our fantastic operators before the year is up.

The recent announcement of the Flinders Ranges & Outback recognised as one of the Lonely Planet's Top 25 Destinations in the world to visit in 2026 has provided a great opportunity to celebrate all of the tourism operators in our region and make a quick note of the 'Don't Forget's' (such as 2026 Visitor Guide, Upcoming Trade Shows, etc) before the year is done.

So join us for this brief 30min online zoom session on Monday 24th November 2025 at 12:30pm as we go over the 'last minute' items and 'tap out' for the year that was 2025!
