My passion for lutherie began at a very young age. After literally tearing apart a guitar at age 8 I built a violin at the age of 13 and have never looked back. I currently specialise in the repair and restoration of fine instruments, both vintage and modern covering anything from re fretting to full restoration of early and modern instruments. I am proud to be representing Taylor Guitars, C.F.Martin and Co, Collings and Santa Cruz Guitar Co. Over the coming months I will endeavour to share with you some pictures of past and current restorations, interesting fretted specimens that come across my bench and just as interesting people. Just completed the refurb of this 2008 Mallia single cut which I’ve used as a demo bass. A re fret and new finish and it’s off to its new home in QLD strung E - C. Figured Australian cedar over tassie Blackwood core.Nordstrand dual coils with Aguilar OBP3 pre.
