We can’t wait to see Kathleen Davey, Chief Executive Officer of Social Science Translated and Clinical Psychologist, speak at hosted by The Australasian Institute of Digital Health next month.

This year’s theme is ‘The Future is Accessible’ - aiming to build a digitally-enabled health sector in which clinicians and the people they support can work towards healthier lives.

From going through a major digital transformation to finding new ways to provide wraparound support for children, Kathleen will be talking about what the team behind the Secret Agent Society has been up to over the last few years.

Most importantly, she’ll explain the impact that digitally enabled healthcare is having on children and their families around the world.

If your child is neurodivergent, then you may have observed them process social situations and emotions differently to many of their peers. Without the right support in place, they might be finding it difficult to form friendships and enjoy school.

However, it’s not always easy for clinicians, parents, and teachers to all get on the same page about their social-emotional needs.

That’s why the Secret Agent Society Small Group Program includes tools that are specifically designed to support communication and collaboration between clinicians, parents, and teachers.

Weekly parent coaching sessions, teacher tip sheets, and a home-school skill tracker are all used to provide wrap-around support for every child that participates in the program. That means they receive consistent mental health support, whether they’re at home or school.

Wrap-around support is one of the best ways to support neurodivergent children as they deal with social and emotional challenges throughout their life journey. As they say, it takes a village to raise a child.

That's why the Secret Agent Society (SAS) Small Group Program involves clinicians, schools, and parents.

SAS Facilitators are provided with the knowledge and flexible resources so that they can tailor the program to the individual goals of children and their families. They are also given tools to involve their school community too.

Parent Group Meetings, School Presentations, Teacher Tip Sheets, Skill Trackers, and our online Mentor Portal are all used to help everyone work and communicate together to deliver the best outcome for every "Cadet" that learns with SAS.
