Hi I am Darby McClaren, the owner and face of McClaren Livestock. This is my new business page, so I wanted to introduce myself and give you a clear run down of what I do.
I run a small livestock contracting business based in central Victoria, servicing central and northern Victoria and New South Wales. I have a strong passion for working dogs and Angus cattle. I currently operate my own Angus stud, McClaren Angus, where I am focused on producing easy doing, quiet and easy to handle Angus bulls. I am using Merridale blood heifers and a mix of AI and Bellaspur bulls to build this line.
I am also passionate about working dogs. Along with my brother, I have begun breeding our own line of kelpies, mainly from Glenlyon, Sherwood and Roustabout blood. We are very excited to see how consistent our current litters and future litters will be.
