This is an excellent opportunity to join a local engineering consultancy as their new Structural Engineer and help to develop their team. Join a successful and highly regarded structural engineering consultancy who specialise in the design, documentation and supervision of building innovative structures and associated site works. You will have a varied role, working on multi-storey residential apartment buildings, commercial low and high rise, shopping centres, childcare centre and more!
The opportunity
Due to recent project wins, we have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer with building design experience to join our team in Adelaide. You will support new and existing projects, including the structural design of local and global projects.

We are looking for someone who is
• Proactive toward career development and continuous learning.
• Committed to quality and agile in project delivery.
• Engineering experience delivering projects such as mixed use, commercial, infrastructure, heritage refurbishment or industrial buildings.
The successful applicant will have
• 1 - 3 years’ post qualification experience in a similar Structural Engineering role
• Mid-high rise building sector design focus. Infrastructure experience is also valuable.
• Concrete design experience with exposure to columns, foundations, reinforced concrete slabs and beams, post tension slabs and beams, lateral design, and shoring design/basement structures.
• Steel and timber design desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach
• Exposure to software such as Structural toolkit, ETABS, SPACE GASS, Microstran, RAPT, RAM Concept and Strand7 is desirable.
• Strong technical background experience required but not essential.
• Demonstrated project experience residential and other sectors.
• Ability to work collaboratively within different multi-disciplinary teams.
• Solid communication & interpersonal skills are imperative.
• Be an active problem solver.
• Demonstrates initiative & a strong work ethic.
• White card & SA driving licence.
• Strong desire & passion for Structural Engineering
