We've all thought about it, lying in an interview. You've probably even pulled of the odd deception. But what happens when you land the job? There is more at stake than your own reputation when misrepresenting yourself to a recruitment company. Think of all those hours someone has spent promoting you, assuring the client of your awesomeness, only to find out you weren't the right person for the job.
That one act of deception costs the recruiter thousands in billable hours and could cost their relationship with who they are representing. The solution? Honesty is the best policy, be who you really are, be confident and represent yourself the best way you know how. :)
