Employers: Are you ready to celebrate New Year’s Eve – for fringe benefits tax (FBT)? 🤓🎉🥳

The 2023 year ends on 31 March 2023, so make sure you’re keeping on top of your FBT obligations!

You’ll need to work out if you have an FBT liability for fringe benefits provided between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023. If you have an FBT liability, your FBT return and payment is due by 22 May. If you use a tax agent, you may have a different due date.

Remember, keep all records relating to the fringe benefits you’ve provided, including any calculations.
