RCHA is currently taking expressions of interest for a casual domestic assistance (cleaning) role.

* Experience in the aged care and/or disability industry is an advantage, however training is available for the right candidate.
* WWVP card is required, also some site-specific inductions may be required from time-to-time.
* Own reliable transportation and current drivers license is required.

We are currently seeking someone that has a good eye for detail, can work unsupervised, honest and trustworthy, can take direction without straying from instructions and is respectful and understanding of our clients requirements.
Someone that can be called at short notice is definitely going to be great, however we do understand that this may not always be possible.

Current workload is increasing in the Kingston, Channel and Huon regions, but work around greater Hobart will be available.

As the business grows, we are happy to review employment status and pay rates as experience grows and client feedback is good.

Good evening to all of our valued customers, followers and friends!

Matt is terrible at remembering to take before and after photos, so sorry we haven't engaged much with you over the past few weeks whilst we have been getting stuck into our business....

Anyhow, here are some pictures of a small job completed recently.

Long story short, we had a local couple, absolutely lovely clients to work with that required replacement gates and some concrete to finish the pathway around the house. The original timber frame gates had failed, posts warped, and there were ongoing compliance issues hindering the issuing of the certificate of completion for their home. The non-compliant overhanging brickwork required an engineered solution for this section of concrete, so along with our clients and engineering firm, we designed and completed the pathway and structural work underground to comply with the requirements of the BCA.

On top of concrete, we replaced the old failed timber framed gates with fully welded steel frames and spring loaded hinges. Double sided access key-lockable latches allow for both security and privacy, and most definitely longevity.

Painted in a monument all weather paint, the gates now match the palette of the property. Additional painting has been requested by the client, so watch this space for additional upgrades to this great home!

Here's a nice result from a quick driveway pressure clean today.
The texture coat surface was looking a little tired so a medium pressure wash ensured our goals of slip, trip and fall mitigation, protection of the textured finish and left the surface looking much nicer.
Customer was very impressed, as were we 👌
All waste removed from edges and taken off-site and drains were cleared prior to finishing.

For those of you that don't know us, Emily and Matt, we look forward to sharing the progress of this exciting new business venture!

For those of you that do know us, thank you for supporting us and we look forward to sharing our venture with you too.

We are sure you look forward to seeing some of the projects that we design, create and continue to maintain, and we certainly look forward to working with you when you require almost any aspect of in-home assistance, home improvement, rectification and maintenance and of course landscape construction and maintenance.

Our list of services is extensive. We have combined our experience in the aged care and domestic services (Emily) and home maintenance and landscaping industries (Matt). We are engaged with a number of home care package providers, and will happily speak with your provider if you would like to utilise our modern, professional reliable services.

We are creating as close to a 'one-stop-shop' for all of our clients residential and commercial indoor and outdoor home maintenance needs. If we cant perform a task required as a part of our services, we have specialized trade contacts from every industry to ensure you can have your home and garden serviced by one reliable contractor.
