My client is an Australian family - owned business established in 2002 specialising in the distribution and sale of safety products for the public. They are based in Moorabbin however travel in the northern suburbs is a requirement. My client’s main product range includes vehicle rear vision systems, tyre pressure monitoring systems, defibrillators, first aid kits and fire safety products. The opportunity
Due to unprecedented growth, they are on the hunt for a superstar Account Manager who is hungry and eager to join a small business as they embark on delivering new product lines, system implementation and further growth.
What we need from you
Outstanding customer relationship skills - You will have the ability and experience to establish strong relationships through building rapport and trust with new and existing customers.
Ability to identify business growth opportunities - You will grow existing key accounts and target new opportunities for OEM and distribution clients (caravan manufacturers, motor home manufacturers, caravan dealerships)
The capacity to absorb and apply technical product knowledge and Australian Standards requirements to your work.
A highly organised, efficient person with good time management skills and strong computer literacy (MS Office, email, CRMs).
Hard working, with an attitude focused on providing solutions.
Some automotive experience in OEM is highly regarded as is a love of or interest in the automotive industry.
Key tasks
Prepare quotes for customers accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure customer requirements are met by liaising with customer service, warehouse and operations and sales staff to expedite orders and resolve issues.
Take in-bound calls and provide technical product advice to customers.
Regular travel to customers within the Melbourne metro area and some regional areas.
Assist with trade show preparation.
