The Small Never Stops

I heard Trevor Noah in a Netflix special say recently:
“Just because the big is happening, the small never stops.”

That resonated deeply after the AquaInnovate26 event.

In my three years working with FUTUREFISH, I’ve seen that aquaculture doesn’t just need “big” players, it needs a system that builds alignment between them.
AquaInnovate26 is that vital “small” cog in the upcoming AquaHub.Asia machine. It’s a space where small, transformative moments create the BIG conditions for Aquapreneurs to thrive.

What an Event!
To the aquapreneurs, partners, and friends: thank you for letting me host, facilitate, and play in your pond. You never disappoint!

A huge shoutout to Nick, Tom and the team for an inspiring kickoff! 

With introductions in place, we connected and explored leadership strengths. Nick shared the petruc.co changemaking journey, setting the stage for the impact we’ll create together.

Our 2025 changemakers are already on their way, reflecting on their leadership styles and the impact they aspire to create. Plus, our amazing Alumni — James, Clare, Andrew, and Nicole — joined the launch, bringing fun stories and insights from their own program experience.

This is just the beginning, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Had a great planning day with the team at Petruc.co for 2023! We reflected on the year that was and the new ways we can all help contribute and make an impact for 2023! I’m excited as Nama (their mascot sitting next to me 🙃🤪) for what this year brings☀️ Surrounding ourselves not only with this amazing professional practice and leaders - but we are grateful for the new opportunities in brand and leadership coaching we have immersed ourselves within. BRAND & TEAM DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS!

Wow! What a great Thai experience. Just arrived back from an amazing opportunity to Lead and Facilitate the global FUTUREFISH team in Bangkok for a tailored Brand & Team Development Workshop series.

There is an African proverb that says “If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together”.

And from far we came together … This was the very first in person FUTUREFISH team meet up that included festivities and fun. With curiosity and consciously open mindsets, we established the vision, mission, values, and goals, together with strategic business building solutions on offer for FUTUREFISH’s partners and its Asian and African small holders. An opportunity that ignited the power of meaningful team connections, dynamically committed to its uniqueness and looking to unleash the potential of all their smallholders.

Let me just say - What an adventure … What an awesome team bond, what amazing results for this Aquaculture Start Up.
