South East Queensland & Northern NSW

Select Wines Australia Pty Ltd is expanding and seeking multiple commission-based wine sales agents to join our growing network across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
To be considered, candidates should have:
1–2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within wine, alcohol, beverage or a related B2B environment.
Wine industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
This is a commission-only, independent contractor role. There is no base salary or retainer.

We are a leading wine distribution company supplying licensed hospitality venues, corporate clients and events. Our portfolio includes a mix of well-established producers and emerging boutique labels, giving our sales agents a commercially strong and diverse range to represent.
We are looking for motivated sales professionals who enjoy building relationships, working autonomously and being rewarded directly for performance.
Strong performance in this role may lead to consideration for a full-time salaried position as the business continues to grow.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Wine sales to restaurants, bars, clubs, hospitality venues and corporate clients
* Account management and ongoing relationship development
* On-premise and off-premise sales
* Identifying opportunities for events, functions and wholesale supply
* Managing your own client portfolio and sales pipeline
* Operating as an independent contractor / commission-based sales agent
This role offers a high degree of flexibility and autonomy. While you will work largely independently and may operate from home, agents are encouraged to visit the warehouse from time to time to stay connected with the product range and team.
The flexibility of this role makes it well suited to professionals with school-aged children or those seeking greater control over their working hours, while still operating in a results-driven sales environment.
About You
You will have:
* Sales experience within wine, liquor, beverage or a related B2B environment
* Existing hospitality or trade relationships (highly regarded)
* Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills
* A commercial, self-motivated approach
* Comfort working independently in a commission-only environment
* Experience as a wine representative, liquor rep, beverage rep, hospitality sales executive, account manager or independent sales agent is highly regarded.
Requirements
* Australian permanent residency
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Competency in MS Office (Outlook/email, Word, Excel) and CRM systems
* Current Queensland RSA
* A reliable vehicle, phone and/or laptop are required
* Candidates should be based in South East Queensland or Northern NSW
* An ABN is required, as this is an independent contractor role
* Home office setup (you will operate remotely and supply your own equipment)
