Its always a good feeling to come home from a new property with a scalp and some dog food, but its even better seeing the excitement on Adaras face as she watches a fox get whistled in for the first time.

There was something really special about sitting by the creek with her, whispering back and forth as the frogs croaked and a big We**ie soared over the top of us.

Checked out a new property near Torquay on Sunday. A lot of young kits which slowed things down, but ended up with 4 good healthy bunnies. The amount of rabbits running around the paddock was unbelievable, so made a plan to head back with the air rifle soon.

And of course, had to finish the day with a nice meal! Pholklore was delicious, highly recommended if you haven't been 👌

A bit of a different meal prep this weekend. Freshly shot rabbit pies for smoko this week! No healthy rabbit we shoot/net gets wasted. Whether they get fed to the dogs and ferrets, or cleaned up and used in delicious meals, they all get used.

Thats the last drive of the season done and dusted. Not only is it good for the environment, its good for your mental and physical health. Ive had an absolute blast with some good mates, and im very proud of how the dogs have worked. Time to rest up and get ready for stubble season. What a bloody country 🇦🇺

If anybody has, or knows of someone who has property and a fox problem, please get in touch. We are always looking for more places to fox drive this time of year, and being lambing season there are farmers losing lambs every single day.

All dogs are fully stockproof and obedient.

We also have a set crew, where all shooters are licensed, experienced and people that I trust with not only my life, but the lives of my kids and dogs.

Came home last night to this bu**er closing in on the chook coup. By the time I got the 22 out and loaded she was already heading down to the ferny gully, but was still close enough for the 22 to slow her down. Out came big Maxy, tracked her down and dispatched her within a couple minutes. You can't put a price on a good working dog. I reckon he's pretty proud of himself 😂
