MEET THE CHEF | DAMIEN SPIROSKI

As part of the next chapter of food at The Matto, we’re introducing some of the people behind the plates.

Damien brings a love for bold flavours, comforting classics and food designed to be shared around the table.

A few things about Damo:

🍽 Deserted island meal:
Deep fried camembert, Nonna’s lasagne & chocolate brownie.

🍷 Dream dinner guests:
Anthony Bourdain, Albert Einstein & Colin Fassnidge.

🍜 One ingredient he’s excited to explore more:
Kombu, building layered broths and Asian-inspired soups.

And his journey with the Social Skilled family started back at The Banksia… and somehow we keep pulling him back in 😂
