With the so prevalent on social media, many are racing to be first in the burnout stakes.

Taking time to really plan and be deliberately your actions is where a lot of the “juice” can be found.

I’m not saying to drag your ass, what I am saying is be proactive over reactive and plan the work, then work the plan.

Recharge, refill your cup then pour very deliberately in what you do. This is where you will do your most productive work.

Do not underestimate the value of small wins each day. We look at little things as insignificant when in actuality they create the big things.

“Know your role”-

Through life we play many different roles. Knowing when to play each role is what is often referred to as “work/life” balance.

The theory of balance though says that the easiest way to balance is through stillness. This however, does not reflect growth... interesting concept really 🤔

With my clients, I use a philosophy I call “phased focus”. The simplest way to put it is take a 12 week period where your core focus is on one aspect of your life. If it’s an element of your business, do this and watch what happens. I’ve used this philosophy with great success with my clients and the irony is when they use it, other areas improve too... they “level up” so to speak.

This here is mine. Throughout my life, I had a very difficult upbringing. We looked like happy families, but behind closed doors, we were anything but. As a child I was subjected to a world of abuse and the impact it had on me affects me to this day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It created abandonment issues. Insecurity. Fear. Self hatred. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As I grew up, a became a young father. My eldest son .goffett just turned 18. I was 22 when he was born. He came into my life and changed everything. Several years later Sienna came along, she is now 11. Then lucas- 6. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My life has felt like one failure after the next. It hurts. It’s hard. It beats your ass consistently. But we learn from those ass kickings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We learn the errors and how to not do things. We learn the skills we didn’t have before. We learn that we are human. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When we reflect, if we can focus on our victory’s we can look for the clues that those times left us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
