Remembrance Day is on Monday, 11 November. On this day, we pay respect and pause for one minute to remember the service and sacrifice of our veterans and current serving personnel.
The red Flanders poppy is the most prominent symbol of Remembrance Day, and people are encouraged to wear it on their left side to honour the day.
The sails of the Sydney Opera House will again be illuminated with poppies. You can head to Circular Quay to see the projections as it commences on:
