Supporting School Communities 📚
Established in 1973, Willmot Public School has grown into a leading public primary school in the Mount Druitt region, built on a proud history of commitment to students and the community.
This school is making a difference in the lives of the students attending the school, and the wider community.
Through programs such as the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden, real-life experiences are brought into everyday learning, enriching students’ understanding, engagement and consistency of attendance.
The school works closely with with families, local organisations such as Willmot Hub, The Smith Family, and a network of schools, to create culturally relevant learning opportunities that connect school to home and community.
The highly skilled professionals, lead by Mrs Bugeja, believe every child has the potential to thrive and succeed in their learning.
The school provides opportunities to explore and develop potential, through rich learning experiences, and a unique range of specialist programs.
It was a pleasure to visit the school, see and witness the difference this school is making within a community, and support families, especially at this time of the year, by donating school shoes and socks.
