Its official 🚀

We’ve entered a multi-year partnership with the ACCA United Kingdom

Fortunately both Jordan Vickery and I have had a long standing relationship with the ACCA and were very excited to formalise this now at Journey

Huge thanks to people like Jason, Glenn, Pat and Mark who have supported us through all the different iterations of our careers.

So… what’s the partnership all about?

This partnership will focus on two key initiatives:

1) The Accounting Futures Roadshow

We're hitting the road and stopping in 6 UK cities this Autumn with the ACCA and a selection of leading tech vendors.

This roadshow is about helping to solve the challenges facing firms today whilst preparing for the opportunities of the future.

2) Strengthening the bond between tech & members

It's not enough to provide access to tech; we need to ensure people are successful with how they use it.

We'll work closely with the ACCA to ensure members have exclusive access to the latest in accounting tech whilst creating and facilitating a 2-way dialogue between members and vendors.

Exciting times, and there will be more to share over the next few months as we continue our close working relationship.

OMFG... we're so close! 🤩

I've been incredibly tight lipped and ALL is about to be revealed.

I can't f #$king wait! Honestly. I've been impatient as heck and hanging out to tell the world of our NEXT BIG THING.

Excited to announce we’re officially working with G-Accon on their next stage of growth.

G-Accon is THE go to API connector to suck data down from your accounting software into google sheets.

This week I’ve been interviewing power users who claim they’re 80% more efficient with G-Accon.

After seeing them demonstrate the workflow it was hard to rebut.

Today we launch a brand new Journey 🚀

5 months in the making we are finally ready to Let It Rip!

Earlier this year, we started Journey as a small consultancy leveraging my 12 years experience working in accounting tech.

I’ve had every job under the sun from sales, partnerships and marketing.

By June this was no longer about my journey, and being surrounded, by now, 20 talented folks who bring their all every day.

It was time to shed our skin and evolve into something new.

Journey 2.0 is now live and ready for your viewing!

We’ve embodied punk rock aesthetics to match our attitude towards operating outside of the box

Our colours are as bold as our opinions and the imagery a commitment to GSD for all of our clients.

So What's next?

In 2023, we've been building a growth engine for SaaS and service providers focused on the accounting industry.

In 2024, we continue to do the same - with even more energy - and a few additional priorities.

Our 2024 priority list

Here's a little taste of what to expect from us in 2024...

☠️ Listen out for "The Green Room", our new podcast coming to you early in the new year

☠️ We're launching Journey Ventures, where we will invest in early-stage accounting SaaS companies (drop me a line if you're interested)

☠️ The team will continue to expand as we launch Journey AMER to help new and existing clients expand into North America.

☠️ We'll be putting our money where our mouth is by building and developing our own SaaS product for the world, labelled 'Project COSH',

And most importantly...

☠️ Maintain our 'No burn-out culture'
☠️ Have fun, break stuff and learn from it

2023, it's been a blast.

But my god we can't wait to get into 2024 and dial it up to 11.
